This Privacy Policy explains how HOKO (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in connection with our events, in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

This policy applies to all attendees, guests, speakers and sponsors who register for or participate in events organised by HOKO, including the Global Family Office Summit and related programming. By registering for or attending an event, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

When you register for an event, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
Full name, job title and company/organisation
Email address and phone number
Attendance preferences (e.g. speaker, sponsor, guest)
Photographs and video footage captured at the event
3. Purpose of Collection and Your Consent
We collect and use your personal data to process your registration, manage attendance, communicate event updates, and coordinate logistics with our partners and venue providers.
By attending this event, you consent to the collection of your personal data for registration purposes and to being photographed and filmed for marketing use by HOKO and its partners.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform our event staff on-site so that reasonable accommodations can be made.
4. Photography and Marketing Use
Photographs and video footage captured during the event may be used by HOKO and its event partners across websites, social media, press releases and future marketing materials to promote current and upcoming events. We take reasonable care to use such imagery respectfully and in line with the purposes described here.
5. How We Use and Disclose Your Data
We only share your personal data with trusted event partners, sponsors, venues and service providers to the extent necessary to organise and deliver the event. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may disclose personal data where required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of HOKO, our partners, attendees, or the public.
6. Data Protection and Retention
We implement reasonable administrative, physical and technical safeguards to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure or loss, in accordance with the PDPA. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
7. Your Rights Under the PDPA
Subject to the PDPA, you have the right to:
Request access to the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
Withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time
Please note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to process your registration or provide certain event-related services.
